Dr. Glenn C. Hayes - Director

Dr. Glenn C. Hayes is the Director of Bands at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  His responsibilities include conducting the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Chamber Winds, the Warhawk Marching Band, Marching Band Techniques, Instrumental Conducting, and several Music Education courses.  Dr. Hayes is a frequent guest conductor and heavily involved with College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA), National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA).  He is also a frequent presenter at the WSMA State Conference and the Midwest Band and Orchestra Conference held in Chicago, IL.

Mr. Tobie L. Wilkinson - Associate Director

Senior Lecturer of Music/Percussion, Tobie Wilkinson, is the Associate Director of the Warhawk Marching Band and is the Percussion Instructor/Arranger for the ensemble.  Mr. Wilkinson teaches Applied Percussion, Percussion Techniques, Percussion Literature and Pedagogy, and directs the UWW Percussion Ensemble.   Mr. Wilkinson is active as a performer in various ensembles throughout Wisconsin and  has served  as an adjudicator for the Mid-American Competing Band Directors Association (MACBDA) and the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) marching competitions.  He is a member of the Percussive Arts Society (PAS),   and currently is the Immediate Past-President of the Wisconsin Chapter of PAS.       Mr. Wilkinson  is a member of the education team for Vic Firth Inc., and the Warhawk Marching Band percussion section proudly performs on Yamaha instruments.

Mr. SCOTT JONES - COLOR GUARD INSTRUCTOR

Scott Jones has been an educator and adjudicator for 25 years.  His experiences have taken him throughout the country working with many of the country’s top drum and bugle corps and marching bands. He has served on the color guard staff of the Madison Scouts, Phantom Regiment, and the Blue Stars as well as the Plymouth-Canton High School Marching Band, L.D. Bell High School, and the Army All American Marching Band to name a few. When not traveling, Scott teaches Language Arts in Milwaukee Wisconsin, where he also resides.    For information about  the  Warhawk Marching Band color guard, please  email   Mr. Scott Jones    .  

MR. Chad Quamme - Drill Writer/Visual

Chad Quamme has been an active instructor in drum corps, marching band and winter guard for over twenty years.  Through his years of teaching he has worked with finalist groups in Drum Corps International and Winter Guard International as well as many Wisconsin and Michigan State Marching Band Championships.  Currently he writes drills for marching bands in Wisconsin, Michigan and Texas and adjudicates all over the country.  He is a history teacher at Beloit Memorial High School in Beloit, Wisconsin and resides in Milwaukee,  Wisconsin.
